The Troop's Website (what you are reading) is the standard operating procedures and guidance of Troop 1525.  The intent is to fully document and consolidate all guidance into a single easily referenced location for use by Scouts, adult Scout Leaders, and parents.  This guide details “how we do things in Troop 1525” and remains in compliance with current BSA policies.  It is the culmination of over a year’s work and has relied on input from numerous Scoutmasters, Assistant Scoutmasters, Committee Members, and parents.

These pages will be updated to stay current with approved decisions affecting the Troop's program.  If you see any conflicting information, please bring it to the attention of the Committee Chair and Scoutmaster.

Proposed changes should be given to the Committee Chair or Scoutmaster.  The proposed changes will be reviewed by the "Key 3" (the Scoutmaster, Troop Committee Chair and Chartered Organization Representative).  Minor changes (non-substantive changes) can be approved by the Key 3.  Non substantive changes are administrative corrections or adjustments that are considered not to impact the content or quality of the scouting program.  All other changes will be voted on at a Troop Committee meeting.  Approval of proposed changes will be by majority vote of the Troop Committee present at the meeting.
