The following positions require a Scout to be active in the Troop for the three months prior to appointment and are appointed by the Senior Patrol Leader with Scoutmaster approval.


Assistant Senior Patrol Leader

  • Be the rank of 1st Class or above
  • Have experience as a Patrol Leader


Troop Quartermaster

  • Be the rank of 1st Class or above
  • Be willing to keep Troop 1525 gear organized and help ensure it remains in good repair


Order of the Arrow Representative

  • Be an active member of the Order of the Arrow
  • Be active in the Troop for the three months prior to appointment


Other Positions of Responsibility

Other Positions of Responsibility are appointed by the SPL with consent of the Scoutmaster. This is not a complete list and not all positions need to be filled.  These positions require candidates to identify measurable goals/projects that will be undertaken during their tenure.

  • Historian
  • Librarian
  • Chaplain’s Aide
  • Scribe
  • Bugler
  • Webmaster
  • Leave No Trace Trainer
